Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the More Magazine/Fitness Magazine Women’s Half-Marathon is one of the country’s largest all-women’s half-marathons! The race brings together women of all ages and backgrounds for a weekend of fun, fitness, and camaraderie in NYC. Whether you’re coming from across the country or from around the corner, join us in Central Park on Sunday, April 14.

February 24th is now officially the date of the inaugural Central Park Marathon & Half Marathon!
The USATF Certified Boston Qualifying race will comprise 5 loops of the park crossing the 102nd St. transverse. Marathon Map
The USATF Certified Half Marathon course will feature one lower loop crossing the 72nd st transverse, one loop crossing the 102nd st transverse and one full loop of the park. Half-Marathon Map
Race swag will include an awesome medal, a hoodie and the usual great NYCRUNS post-race meal. Hot Chocolate? Of course!
This race is currently capped at 1500 runners but the cap may be expanded. The official time limit is 5 hours and 15 minutes but as a rule of thumb the last thing we unplug is the finish line mat – take your chances over 5:15. Expect more details including course maps to be added in January.
There will be no race day packet pickup but we will have a bib mail option for a small fee. You will need to pick up your hoodie after the race.
The marathon is currently priced at $85. and the half at $60.
The standard “No Refunds or Transfers” policy applies especially in the event of bad weather. February 24th is not the best bet in the world for perfect marathon weather, but it actually was quite nice last year – and February 23rd was beautiful. Fingers crossed.
