Pineapple and Spinach Juice Experiment

Join me today to prepare some delicious Pineapple & Spinach juice.  I chose this combination because Pineapple is high in Vitamin C which helps me combat any airborne illness and therefore, boost’s my immune system. Spinach is high in Vitamin A which is involved in immune function, vision, reproduction, and cellular communication. Vitamin A also supports cell growth and differentiation, playing a critical role in the normal formation and maintenance of the heart, lungs, kidneys, and other organs. bullet will blend all your fruits and veggies to a nice smooth texture. I hope you enjoy the video and try this amazing mix at home!!!

Pineapple Pineapple

Although the season for pineapple runs from March through June, they are available year-round in local markets. This is one of my favorite fruits to boost my immune because it is super high in vitamin C. Pineapple is sweet, hydrating with a tiny bit of tart when fully ripened.  Best time to slice your pineapple is when it’s mostly brownish mixed with dark yellow and you are able to smell that sweet pleasant scent. Why I chose the Path of Yoga

mediting

I will  begin by sharing that without my auntie who was taken away by Cancer nine years ago, I would have never been in a quest for so many questions.  Why couldn’t any doctor cure or properly treat my aunt’s illness?  I accompanied my aunt to the hospital when she was still a bit strong and I could see the pain in her eyes as she squinched each time the doctor poisoned her with chemotherapy.  As young as I was then, I could see how these treatments kept swallowing her dry and taking her soul.  Yet, what continued to saddened me was to see my family trusting in her doctor to save her life.  Instead, he sentenced her to a hospice care where she would be surrounded by family as we observed her final breaths.  Throughout the years, I have come to learn that drugs and medications do not heal the sick because if they did, pharmaceutical companies would not profit nor continue to have control over the diseased.   They push doctors to prescribe all sorts of drugs to their patients therefore, maintaining them dependent on drugs and worsening their health.

Avocado & Tomato Green Sandwich

Avocado & Tomato Green Sandwich

So the other day I was really hungry and I wanted something quick to eat.  All I had in my kitchen that day was one roll of bread, from the ones I buy at the fresh market (4 X $1.00). I also had a container of Hummus Spread, Arugula salad, spinach leaves, tomatos and my avocados, which by the way, were finely ripe.  Guess what I made myself to eat that day? That’s right,  I put it all together into a lovely and deliciously divine sandwich.  Some of you may be asking yourselves, “well, what about your protein Angela?”.  I must confess, because I am vegan, I get most of my protein from plants and veggies, it’s that simple!. Avocado itself is rich in protein and healthy omega fat.  I cut the sandwich in half because it was pretty filling and I saved the rest for my better half. ❤ ❤ ❤
