Practicing yoga will help you gain control of your health and be in control of your own life. Bringing awareness to the breath is the first step to gaining control of your body. Meditation allows the mind to sit still so we may focus on what’s most important. The physical practice will lengthen the muscles to take away stagnant energy and tension in the body. It also connects me with my highest intellect which allows for smarter decision making.
